لقد تعرفت إلى شخصية جميلة جدا و حيويه و غير معتادة ، إنه المصمم خالد الأيوب و الذي كان له حضور على الساحه منذ فتره، و بعد أن رأيت مجموعة من أعماله، لفت نظري الإتقان في الخياطه و الحياكة و عدا عن ذلك التصماميم المميزه التي يقوم بها

و حدث فيما بيننا هذا الحوار

حدثنا عن بداية دخولك في المجال؟

منذ صغري و أنا اراقب والدتي و ابتكاراتها بأزيائها و هذا ما جعلني اقدم على تطوير ذاتي و زيادة حبي في مجال الأزياء و أن ادرس في تركيا

ما رأيك في اخر الصيحات و متابعينها؟

شخصيا افضل ان نتبع ما يليق بنا و بمجتمعنا و معرفة الوقت الازم لإرتداء القطع

فدائما احاول استعمال الالوان الدارجه مع الوان الموسم المعتاده و عادة عندما نتبع صيحة رأيناها على احد المشاهير علينا ان نراعي اننا لسنا هم و قد لا يليق بنا ما يليق بهم

ما الفرق بين الأناقه و  “الكشخه ” برأيك؟

عموما الناس قد تخلط بين الاثنين برأيي الاناقه هي ارتداء الزي المناسب في الوقت المناسب اما الكشخة فهي ارتداء ما هو غير معتاد علينا عادة و تكون في مناسبات معينه و ما الى ذلك و يجب مراعاة النقطه الأهم ان يكون لكل قطعه تناسق مع بقية القطع و الوقت دون الخروج عن اسلوبك الخاص في اللباس.

من هم المشاهير الذي تحب طريقة ارتدائهم ؟

ريهانا يعجبني جنونها و كيم كارداشيان يعجبني الهدوء العام و الاناقه التي تظهر مقوماتها كأمرأه اما في الشرق الأوسط قد اقول مايا دياب و إليسا

من من المشاهير الشباب يعجبك في طريقة لباسهم في الشرق الأوسط؟

اعتقد بأن وائل كفوري أحد الاشخاص التي تعرف كيف توصل صورة ايجابيه و بأناقة.

مالذي يحمسك؟

اي شيء يذكر الناس بشيء من وقت مضى، احب ان اذكرهم بتلك الاوقات مع لمسه معاصره

كيف تستوحي اعمالك؟

اي شيء قد يوحي لي ولكن على الأغلب احب ان استوحي من قطع القماش و الصور و العالم غير محدود عموما بما يمكنني الاستيحاء منه

كلمة اخيره عن تصاميمك؟

هي جلامور بسيط و صريح ، اعتمد على البساطه مع اضافات بسيطه جدا تضفي على القطعه بريق عالمي، و احب ان اعمل على الالوان او القصه او تفاصيل صغيره تظهر انوثة المرأه و تضفي على اسلوبها حركة ايجابيه

Up Close and Personal : Fashion Designer Khalid Al Ayoub

Hello Readers,

I have came across the phenomenal new emerging designer Khalid Al Ayoub who has been in the market for quite sometime now, with an amazing collection of capes, his work is unique yet at the same time so simple and elegant, and I had the chance to examine it on closer level and I can’t describe the beauty of the work that has been implied on the details and the stitching.

and since sashdesigns.com loves to take advantage of the moment we had this little chat with him, to bring him closer to you.

Tell us about your start ?

Since I was a kid I have always seen my mum being creative getting ready for any occasion by creating her own items I loved the idea and that made me push my way into fashion world through studying in turkey.

what do you think about trends ?

Well, I believe that when it comes to trends and fashion there is a big difference, I can’t wear the latest trendy colors without adding the season colors for instance.

And usually people  misuses the trends as we create them, and they depend on someones style a celerity per se and we apply them on ourselves, in a way that might not be attractive yet we hide that by saying that we are following a trend.

The difference between style and fashion from your point of view?

In general people mix between being stylish and fashionable, as for fashionable you have the high-end brands yet at the same time it might suit the rest of what you are wearing, while stylish people know how to keep good brands yet at the same time wears what suits the occasion and remains keeping a stylish approach which gives the person a distinguished look

Which celebrities do you like when it comes to fashion?

Rihanna always inspires me, she has that crazy aura that surrounds her while when it comes to more subtle looks and casual looks, Kim Kardashian.

From middle eastern I think Maya Diab and Elissa has distinguished styles.

Male celebrities where do they stand in the middle east?

I think Wael Kfoury knows how to carry himself and I don’t believe that men are bound to fashion like women , it doesn’t depend on price while it depends on how to carry yourself as man

What drives you?

Anything people wouldn’t pay attention for or forgotten items

I like to remind people  of those items with a modern touch

How do you get inspired ?

In fashion world is not limited to what we see or what we are used to so anything can inspire me from bags or shoes , great designers or just something I see in the street or a pure simple picture

Tell me a little bit about your designs?

Plain elegant glamour, as in I depend on luxurious fabric and I work on details, the colors should always be neutral to pop the femininity and the style of the woman who is going to wear it.

اليوم سأقدم لكم موهبتين مميزتين في عالم التصوير الفوتوغرافي، محمد الشطي و بلال برجي و هم شابين جمعهما حب التصوير و الابداع و ذات موهبه لايمكن تغاضيها و في تطور دائم فكان لي شرف التصوير معهم،
نعم كنت احد المودلز لا تنصدمون
و صراحه قاموا بمجهود جبار معي، عموما كان لنا هذا الحديث معهم،

كيف يأتيكم الإيحاء للتصوير؟
الإيحاء يأتي من كل شيء حولنا ، إن كان فلم، مشهد ، لقطه حركة ادميه معينه… شخص تصرف بطريقة لفتت انتباهنا او اثناء التسوق او المشي فكل شيء يعطينا ايحاء طالما هو امامنا.

ما اكبر المشاكل التي تواجهكم؟
ان مشكلتنا الاساسيه هي عدم وجود مودلز محترفين نستطيع التقاط الصور لهم، فعلى نجد اناس ذو اشكال جميله ولاكن لايستوعبون المباديء الأساسيه للتموضع فالمودل المحترف يتحكم بجسده من رأسه لأخمص قدميه ليقوم بتوصيل فكره عن طريق إيحاء جسدي او تعبير وجهي معين.

ما هي المشاريع التي تعملون فيها ؟
نحن نأخذ المشاريع التي يمكننا ان نوصلها بدقة تامه ولا نوافق على عمل شيء اكبر من امكانياتنا او خارج نطاق خبرتنا فبالنهايه اسمنا سيكون على هذا العمل و يجب ان يليق بمستوى العميل و يرضينا كمحترفين.

عندما تقومون بتحضير لفكرة معينه هل بالعادة تظهر كما تخيلتم؟
نحن عادة نقوم بوضع اساسيات الفكره ولكن نتوقع تغييرات في وقت العمل و لا شيء يأتي كما هو في مخيلتك بالضبط، فعادة يكون افضل و ذو مستوا عالي.

من تحبون كمصورين و تتابعون؟
نتابع سكوت كيلبي فيعجبنا التقنيه المتبعه في صوره
و تايرا بانكس كموديل تقوم بعمل رائع .

اين ترون انفسكم خلال ٥ سنوات من الان؟
نحن نحضر لفكرة ستقوم بنقلة نوعيه في مستوى التصوير الفوتوغرافي في الكويت ولكن سنبقيها مفاجأه حتى يحين وقتها.

عموما هاذين الشابين المبدعين استمتعت بالتعامل معهم و بالجلوس معهم ، و تعاملهم جميل و راقي جدا و احب ان اشكرهم على مجهودهم معي و اتمنى لهم التوفيق في مخططاتهم و التعاملات القادمة.

Interview : MB Studio Creativity in another dimension

Hello Readers,

today I’m introducing not one but two amazing photographers I came across,

those people has a talent and can’t be denied, their style is ever evolving and I got the chance to model for them (Yes I was surprised too)

and interview them at the same time and they are Mohammad Al-Shatti and Bilal Bourji from “MB” studios ,

and we had this little chitchat,

what usually inspires you to take pictures?

It comes from every little things in front of you, a movie,a movement, an item while running errands it just hit us.

anything could be inspirational for us it all depends on your imagination.

what is the biggest problem that you usually face?

Models are the main problem , we can’t find the proper models and the most we come across are usually good looking but that is it, they don’t know the basics of posing as the models need to be able to pay attentions to all the details from the tip toes to their heads.

what kind of projects do you take?

We don’t accept any projects that we can’t deliver 100%

we love glamour photography we love working with models and props

but usually not all the projects are accepted and show our style, we don’t like the typical.

and we don’t like to copy others work , and whatever we inspire from we keep it personal.

when you prepare for an idea is it usually different that what you have thought?

nothing comes as you imagine 100% you plan and you do your best to get the ideas presented in the best way possible and sometimes even better than what we have thought

who is your favourite photographer internationally, in the middle east or locally?

we love the technique of Scott Kelby

and we adore the ideas and the way she presents herself as a model the one and only Tyra Banks

and a lot more, but those are the ones we keep an eye at.

where do you see yourself in 5 years?

we have an idea that we like to apply and as this is going to be out before it is done actually we would like to keep it a secret but it is going to be transformation point in photography in Kuwait.

for me I have enjoyed being with MB, and they are quite professional yet fun to work with, and we went crazy a little bit,  hopefully more would come out of this new found friendship.
